Nursery

Nursery volunteers ensure that the youngest who come to worship at Knox and their families feel welcome, safe and comfortable, and that they enjoy their time with us.  
●    The Nursery coordinator oversees the nursery, including recruiting and training helpers, communicating with families and the congregation about the nursery, and addressing any issues
●    Adult nursery volunteers provide care for infants, toddlers and young children, and support for their families.
●    Youth helpers may assist in the nursery, under the supervision of an adult nursery volunteer.
Under the Presbyterian Church in Canada's Leading with Care policy, nursery volunteers must be screened using references and an interview, and have a current police record check for working with a vulnerable population.
