Flower Convenor

Members of the congregation who wish to have a floral arrangement to mark an important anniversary or as a remembrance can make a donation for flowers and schedule a date through the flower convenor. The convenor purchases the flowers on their behalf, schedules the flowers for the appropriate date, makes sure that the flower donation is included in the bulletin for the service, and arranges the flowers. Flowers are brought to the church and placed in the urn the day before. A schedule is kept in the church office and reimbursement is also handled by the church office. A flower fund is kept for special events or arrangements. 

This position would be of interest to those with an interest in flower arrangements and beautifying the sanctuary.
