The Gifts of Advent

Hope. Peace. Joy. Love.

These were the Gifts of Advent we celebrated on the first day of December during a special service that took place in the afternoon. We examined each of the gifts with quotes and scriptures that related to each one, singing many different carols: a rare activity for the Presbyterian church to do before the 12 days of Christmas, but it was for a special occasion!

A main focus of this event was coming together to collect donations for the Dr. Peter Pryce Indigenous Scholarship in Medicine, a scholarship that helps support Indigenous students pursuing an education in that field.
