Most of us know only the religions we learned as we grew up - and perhaps only incompletely.
Sitting in the heart of Ottawa, a cosmopolitan city whose members follow many religions - or none at all - Knox is a part of the community. Being a part of the community requires seeing it through other's eyes. The upcoming series of workshops entitled "Windows onto World Religions" will give everyone a peek at other beliefs. Dr. Cheryl Gaver, the leader, has examined Indigenous religions as well as Islam, Christianity and Judaism.
The four Thursday night workshops from 7-9 PM, on February 22nd, March 1, 8, and 15 are free and open to all. Pre-registration is not required. Anyone is invited to show up and enter through the door off the courtyard at 227 Elgin St.
