It has been quite a snowy week. We hope that things are going ok in your lives and that you may continue to experience the sustaining hand of God, in both the simple and profound. Last week in Sunday School, and in the Christian faith around the world, we recognized Ash Wednesday and the First Sunday of Lent- a season of hope and anticipation, as well as a solemn observance towards Easter. We looked at the promise of God found in Genesis 9:8 - 17- the story of Noah’s Ark. 
 
This coming Sunday in Sunday School Zoomland,  we will focus on  Genesis 17:1–7, 15–16. The theme is about God’s grace and how it reaches across generations, back into the past and forward into the future. Abram and Sarai are our lead characters and we will come to learn that God does keep promises, but His sense of timing may not always be the same as our own. 
May we all patiently wait for the promises of God this lenten season,
