Prepare the way of the Lord! -- This week we continue to read the words of the prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 40:1–11) as he reminded the people of God that, despite being captives in far-off Babylon, they must "Prepare the way of the Lord!"  We will explore what we are doing and what we can do to "prepare the way of God" in our homes and communities. We will also light the second candle of Advent, the candle of peace.
