$3000 raised for Food Centre

The reading of Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol' sponsored by Centre 120 - Out of the Cold- at Knox on Dec 11 raised over $3000 for the Centretown Emergency Food Centre and thrilled over 225 listeners as the readers brought the story to life. Music and lighting set the atmosphere and the readers gave verve and animation to the beloved tale, making its old-fashioned language meaningful even to modern ears.
