Sharing our light -- Last week in Sunday School we talked about people we admire -- someone famous such as a movie star, athlete, or world leader, or a favorite relative, sibling, or friend.

We discussed that saints are people who have characteristics that others admire. This week we will focus on a parable or story about being prepared to share our light. 

We will talk about how people shared their light and lives by going to war so we can have freedom. There is a song with a verse, “They will know we are Christians by our love.” An alternative refrain might read, “They will know we are witnesses by our light.”
