What's in the Pot?

On most Sunday mornings, our Minister calls children forward for a brief story. Children gather at the front steps of the sanctuary, and sometimes something that relates to the sermon or something else in the worship service is pulled from a large clay pot.

After a prayer, a Christ Lantern is also taken from the clay pot and someone is chosen to carry it to out of the sanctuary to Sunday School. Occasionally children remain for the next song, though usually at this point they are invited to exit for Sunday School or return to their seats.
