6th Annual Minto Park Sale »

The 6th Annual Minto Park Sale will be on Saturday, June 18th, 2011 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at Minto Park, Elgin Street between Gilmour and Lewis. All proceeds from the Minto Park Sale will be donated to the Centretown Emergency Food Centre, a project supported by Knox Church.

Memorial Service for Mary Yuille »

There will be a Memorial Service for Mary Yuille at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry on Wednesday, June 1st at 11am. The congregation was saddened to learn of Mary’s death which occurred on February 28th, 2011. The service on Wednesday will be followed by a reception and interment at Beechwood Cemetery.

Major Rev. Shaun Yaskiw at Book Club June 12 »

Book Club meets on June 12th at 7pm. Major Rev. Shaun Yaskiw, Chaplain with the Canadian Forces will speak to us about his mission in Afghanistan. Everyone welcome.

Strawberry Tea 2011 »

Summer is almost here and the next major event at Knox will be the Strawberry Tea when we will be serving homemade scones with strawberries and cream, tea and lemonade in the garden and Geneva Hall from 1-4pm on June 25th.

Nancy Ama Vera Quansah »

The congregation was saddened to learn of the death of Nancy Quansah on May 7th, 2011 after a short illness. The funeral was held on Saturday, May 21st at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry.

Rachel Laurin at Knox Church May 30th »

Sunday School Mission Project »

Please sponsor one of the 90 Knox pews for a pew wash-a-thon, in support of the Sunday School’s mission project, Gracefield Christian Camp and Retreat Centre. A table will be set up during coffee hour to accept donations.

CEFC Looking for Volunteers »

Centretown Emergency Food Centre is in dire need of help to portion food and stock shelves on Monday and Thursday mornings and also to serve clients on Monday afternoons. If you are able to help please contact Kerry Kaiser or Linda Winkelaar.
