Another YAYA event: Join us for our second annual Winter Open-Mic Night and Coffeehouse on Saturday, February 19th from 7-9pm. Any and all performers are welcome. The YAYA Ministry is hosting an event for youth aged 14 and up on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Knox Presbyterian Church. Meet for canal skating at 2pm, pizza dinner at 5pm and The Point worship service at 7pm at Dominion Chalmers. RSVP to Darlene McLeod. Dietary restrictions will be accommodated.

Come and learn about the impact of the Israeli occupation on the land and lives of Palestinians from 3 presenters who toured the west Bank in June.

Rev. Frank Emanuel, MA Theology, PhD candidate from St. Paul’s University will speak to us on two Sunday evenings on the topic of The Book of the People, the relationship we have with scripture. These sessions will be held on February 6th and 20th at 7:30pm in the Parlour.

Due to several members being unavailable, the Knox Church Bridge Club will not meet on February 2nd. The next Bridge Club night is scheduled for March 2nd, (first Wednesday of the month) at 7:30pm, in Geneva Hall.
