The Temporal Board has reviewed the question of whether to keep the three old pianos located in the Parlour, the Chinese Room and Iona Hall. The piano in the Parlour is a Heinzman and the one in Iona Hall an Orme. A piano specialist has advised each would require $3,000 to $4,000 in restoration. The one in the Chinese Room is beyond repair. The Board voted to dispose of the three pianos and to purchase an electric piano for Iona Hall.

Any member of Knox is welcome to remove the pianos at their own expense for use outside the Church. If interested, please contact the Board Chair, Robert Hage, by December 15.
