Restoration Appeal

Each year the Temporal Board asks the Congregation to look around at the beautiful building that Knox occupies. It was built in 1932 and designed by the same architect who built the National Research Building on Sussex Drive and Hart House and Victoria College at the University of Toronto. We are fortunate to worship in such attractive surroundings but we need the financial support of the Congregation to help maintain the building. This year we are asking members of the Congregation to donate what they can to help the Board refurbish two well used rooms, the upstairs Parlour and the downstairs “Chinese Room” which is an important Sunday School room (it was used as a classroom in the 1930’s and 40’s to teach Chinese students English). Please use the envelope enclosed with the Bulletin to provide your support.
